The beach
The three great sand beaches end of Marseillan are very appreciated estivants. You can thus choose between Rieu, Robinson and the Mediterranean beach. A multitude wide range of activities are offered for the comfort and the pleasure of the tourists: beach volleyball, football are often practised on the beaches of Marseillan. The amateurs of Kite surfing and other viliplanchists benefit from the great qualities of the Mediterranean sea and Marseillan counts a fair number of them.

The town
The city was founded in the Middle Ages by fishermen. Marseillan is known for its activities: very developed fishing but also for its famous vineyard. Its speciality, Noilly-Pratt is a vermouth married with aromatic herbs; it was conceived at the nineteenth century by Joseph Pratt who gave it his name. Marseillan also developed an activity of conchyculture in the basin of Thau. Come to Marseillan in order to benefit from the pleasures of the sea: the beach, Mediterranean cuisine of fish and shellfish while tasting the wines of Septimanie. Moreover Marseillan is accessible by the train from Béziers or Montpellier.

From Montpellier
By road : follow N112 go pass Sète, follow the beach on N112 to the resort. A small road and a shuttle lead to the town of Marseillan.
By train : a small train connects Montpellier to Marseillan.
