The
beaches Sète offers to the amateurs
leisure and of swimming twelve kilometers of thin sand
beaches which separates the city from the Pond of Thau.
This beach has received for several years the 'blue house'
prize for the quality of its water. The beach of the cornice
which makes it possible to join Marseillan stretches along
the ground bench which separates the pond from Thau of

The
town This fishing port (the first of Mediterranean
France) begins its history in Greek antiquity. It is Louis
XIV who decided that Sète will become a home port
for its navy. Thereafter it became the starting point
of the Canal du midi by the Mediterranean sea. Today this
port is also a beautiful city which offers on top of its
access to the sea, restaurants directly supplied by the
fishing boats of the port, cafés, big businesses,
museums (in particular the museum Georges Brassens) and
many more unexpected beauties. Sète enables you
to discover the colors of the Mediterranean sea but also
