| The
town
It is the
port of the Biterrois (inhabitants of Béziers).
At the beginning, it was a small village of fishermen
which very largely developed to become today a very important
tourist resort of the Herault's coast. Valras offers many
lodgings to the tourists: all inclusive holidays and many
camp-sites. Of course you also have arranged beaches,
bars and restaurants, stores, banks and all the conveniences
essential in a holiday resort worthy of mentionning!

Beach
Valras has a great sand beach, muchly enjoyed by the Biterrois
but also by a multitude of tourists. They are attracted
by the beauty of the Mediterranean sea and the pleasures
of the beach and the sun of Herault. It should be noted
that the beach which extends towards Sérignan is
also attended by naturists.

By road: follow a9 Motorway and leave after
Béziers direction Valras Beach. Take D64 until
Valras approximately 10 km. You can also take the
N112 which passes by Sète, longer way but you
will drive along the Mediterranean sea and avoid the
motorway.
